2012 Season Begins Early for Minor Footballers
The First team from the club into action for 2012 will be the Minor Footballers who play the first round of the Roinn B football league on Sunday next 22nd January, when they take on St. Martins in Colaiste Eamon Ris at 11am. The team will continue to play league games for the next number of weeks hopefully qualifying for a league or shield final. Either way it means that the club is up and running for the season ahead with most other teams commencing their schedules in the next few weeks. The Intermediate team will know their grouping for the 2012 League/ championship when the draws are made at the monthly county board meeting on Monday evening next 23rd Jan in Nowlan Park at 8pm.
