Development Work Begins
The last number of weeks has seen the machinery move into John Locke Park to begin the new Development with the re-siting of the Playing field and the construction of the new complex. Four new modern dressing rooms with showers, referees room, shop, meeting/function room complete with kitchen facilities and a floodlit astro turf alley are all in the plan for this magnificent project. The youth of our club and parish will hopefully reap the benefits of this new facility for many years to come. The club calls on all members,former members whether overseas or in different parts of Ireland, parents and the whole community of Callan to lend us your support in the various fundraising ventures which the Club are running to fund this essential project. You can sign up to the weekly Lotto by direct debit or you might consider selling tickets yourself on a weekly basis by contacting Bosco Bryan (086-2894827). We are all looking forward to seeing John Lockes Club Grounds being transformed into a modern complex to be proud of but We need the help of You our community to achieve our goal.
