BEST OF LUCK TO JASON AND OWEN

All attention will turn to Thurles next Saturday evening when the Kilkenny U-21 team take on Clare I the All-Ireland hurling final. John Lockes players Owen McGrath and Jason Corcoran are part of a very strong squad and there is high hopes that Jason will start at corner back as he has been excellent in all his games. Both lads were on the 2010 Minor team who won the All-Ireland so to bring another two All-Ireland medals to the club would be excellent. Owen is the younger of the two and even though he may not get to start the game it is possible he might be introduced at some stage. If they win on Saturday they will join the likes of John Paul Corcoran, John O’Neill, Declan Roche and Adrian O’Sullivan who have won U-21 All-Irelands. The best of luck to both lads as well as their families and of course the John Lockes club.
