LIVING TO FIGHT ANOTHER DAY

Can we call it the great escape or pure determination? What ever the answer the Lockes certainly got out of jail on Saturday against Conahy Shamrocks at St. John's Park when Jack McDowell scored a last minute goal to give the Lockes another bite of the cherry. In the First half the Lockes looked as if they were going to coast to a comfortable victory and should have lead by more than 5 points at half time, but what happened in the 2nd half is hard to figure out as Conahy totally over ran the young Lockes team. Conahy had a lead of of 3 points going into additional time when the Lockes scarmbled the all important goal sending the game to a replay next weekend. Hopefully this will be a wake up call for the Lockes and next time they will hurl for 60 minutes instead, because if they don't well it will be a relegation final against Tullogher. Go on the Lockes
