August Weekend Tournament Deferred for one week
The 17th Callan Credit Union sponsored Juvenile Tournament takes place once again on Sunday August 11th . The tournament was supposed to have been on Sunday August 4th in conjunction with the Abhainn Ri festival but due to the many gathering festivities in local parishes there were not enough teams available. The parade of the u-9 and u-12 teams will leave Colaiste Eamon Ris at 1pm and arrive in John Locke Park for commencement of all games at 1.45pm. The Club would once again like to acknowledge the continued support of Callan Credit Union for this annual youth event and a feast of hurling is promised. THE Juvenile club will hold it's annual raffle in conjunction with the tournament and tickets at €2 each or a book of 3 for €5 will be on sale outside Super valu and from most club members.
