LOCKES U-21 TEAM WIN SHIELD FINAL
Congratulations to the John Locke U-21 team who won the Southern U-21 'A' Shield today, beating Rower/Inistioge 1-12 to 0-07. This was a totally unexpected result but not to these guys who hurled with pure passion and belief in themselves and above all the Saffron & Blue jersey. They may be a very young team but their total skill and pure determination never let the flying club from the South to settle. Shane 'Shef' Bergin was outstanding and really played a captains part getting the goal and adding some outstanding points from play. It was a total team performance and well done lads, You did your club proud and the future really looks bright with such a wonderful group of players coming through the system. Go on The Lockes
