NEW MANAGEMENT TEAM FOR 2014
The new management team met with the Junior squad for the coming year on Friday night last at the club rooms. New manager Joe Molloy who is an Army Corporal laid out his plans and Joe means business and there will be no messing tolerated. He has put together a serious management team together for the coming year and leading the physical element in Mark Sheridan who is an army Sergeant and a physical trainer in the Army. He has already set out a training schedule of 3 nights a week for the players with a fitness test in the next 2 weeks and them the one session they will all love an endurance test at Desert wood on the 15th February. This is a serious management team that has been put together and there will be excuses tolerated. The club wants to climb the tree again quickly and this year will be the start of a big future. The other selectors are Kieran Canavan, Brion McGrath and Derek Holden, while the Junior 'B' will be looked after by John Stapleton and Pat Power again this year.
