All Ireland Final for two Lockes minors
Two Lockes players Cathal Mc Grath and Bill Mc Dowell will fly the flag for the club when they line out in Croke Park on September 7th in the All-Ireland final. Cathal again played a fine game at corner back in the extra time victory over a very game Waterford side and was a vital member of a tight defensive unit, while Bill Mc Dowell is a panelist who will be hoping to keep the pressure on his team mates in the run up to their big day. The two lads will be back in club action this week with both minor and junior games to be played. We congratulate them on their win and will be in Croke Park again in large numbers for the All-Ireland final in September.
