Leinster Final
All roads lead to Rath in County Offaly on Sunday 16th for the biggest game in their history of the John Locke’s. Yes folks its the Leinster Club Hurling final and the Locke’s are in the final. Who would believe this earlier in the season, even when the team struggled in midsummer, but the Locke’s are Kilkenny County Champions and are one step away from being Leinster Junior hurling champions. It would be a big bonus for the club, its players, mentors and of course its loyal band of supporters to win this game on Sunday, but whatever the outcome let us not forget these hard working dedicated bunch of players who have brought the club this far. Lets cheer them on Sunday and let us all enjoy the day in County offaly and may you all have a safe journey home to Callan where we will celebrate the John Locke’s junior team win or lose.
